Gabriel to represent Archery GB in Bucharest

Our Gabriel

Gabriel has been a member of Worcester Bowmen since 2011, Gabriel’s first venture into tournament archery was at Stourbridge Company of Archers at their Worcester round. Gabriel managed to finish 3rd, Gabriel then went on to take part in the county trials this turned out to be a very long day and Gabriel’s 1st 144 arrow shoot, a good shoot by Gabriel got him his first selection to shoot for Worcestershire County. Gabriel has since been a consistent member of Worcestershire County Team.  In 2013 Gabriel went to the Junior National Outdoor Championships at Lilleshall, this was a very hot day, Gabriel did well in the heat and shot really well coming away with the trophy and the title of Under 12s National champion. Gabriel has since entered many tournaments winning many of them in the county, and on a national level he has finished 2nd and 3rd in 2015 and has consistently been in the top 5. Following his successes Gabriel became a member of the Archery GB academy, where he would benefit from the top coaches in our sport.

Now as Gabriel comes to the end of his time as a junior archer (20 with AGB) and following a recent selection shoot, he has been selected to represent Archery GB at the European Youth cup in Bucharest. We are proud to have Gabriel as a member of our club, not only has he been a constant representative of the club around the county and country he has always helped out at our beginner courses, with the warm up sessions that he had learnt at Archery GB academy.

We wish Gabriel all the best of luck as he embarks on this journey.
